Diplomas & Attestations
Upon request by the Program Director, a
diploma will be issued to the resident or fellow who has completed, in
good standing, residency training, a clinical fellowship, a clinical and
research fellowship, or a research fellowship at McGill University. This
diploma will only be issued by the Faculty Postgraduate Medical
Education Office, once all evaluations are available (in-training
evaluations and final in-training evaluations) and are available 4-6
weeks after completion of training.
Upon request, an attestation of training
on special McGill letterhead will be issued to the residents or fellows
who have completed in good standing part of their training in the
Faculty of Medicine of McGill University. This attestation of training
will only be issued by the Faculty Postgraduate Medical Education
Office.
Program Directors can issue letters
stating the type of training, the years of training and giving specifics
concerning rotations, but will not issue attestations of training nor
diplomas.
