Pediatric Diagnostic Radiology

One year of fellowship is available in Clinical Pediatric Radiology. The 1-year program is accredited, without certification, by The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada

The training program is designed to introduce the fellow to all modalities by means of closely supervised exposure to plain radiographs, digital fluoroscopy, ultrasound and Doppler studies, nuclear medicine including SPECT, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging with basic spectroscopy, as well as angiography and interventional studies. The fellow will be familiarized with procedures, guidelines and equipment used in sedation and monitoring of infants and children. At the end of the one-year program, the fellow will have received full training in all aspects of Clinical Pediatric Radiology.

Protected time, up to one month, is devoted to research (usually clinical research) in the first year.
