Programs listed here are accredited residency
programs except for programs identified by an asterisk*.
Please note that McGill Postgraduate Medical
Education does not offer positions for trainees to complete a
single preliminary year of training. Preliminary training is
considered to be part of the core training for the specialty programs
offered at McGill University. Applicants can therefore be
considered for a full residency: 2 years of Family Medicine, 5 years for
all other specialties except for Neurosurgery and Cardiac Surgery, which
are 6 years in length. (@ Indicates Entry-Level Programs)
