What is MRESone45?
MRESone45 is a medical education administration system designed by Medical Education experts specifically for the medical education community to manage trainee scheduling and 360°evaluations. It is currently being used by more than 14 Universities across Canada. For McGill's postgraduate medical trainees, the system makes the “R” numbers easily available for billing RAMQ for teaching activities. All teachers MUST be appointed as McGill Faculty in order to use the system (Lecturer or higher).
Access
Access to the MRES is available 24/7! Please ensure that your internet browser version is any one of the following or higher: Internet Explorer 6,
Firefox 2. For Macs: Firefox 2, or Safari 2 and higher. You will also need to enable pop-ups.

Login Information
Residents:
All Residents are required to log into the MRES with their McGill Username and password. If you are unsure what your username and password is, you can obtain your McGill Username and reset or create a new password via your Minerva account https://banweb.mcgill.ca/mcgp/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin under Personal Menu > then select Password for McGill Username. For instructions on how to do this, click here. You can also obtain this information by contacting McGill ICS Help Desk at 514-398-3398 with your 9 digit McGill Staff ID.
Faculty:
For faculty whose accounts have not yet been synched with their McGill username, the "forgot password" link is always available on the sign in page, so your username and password can ALWAYS be retrieved from here if you have forgotten or misplaced it. Please remember to save the MRES one45 sign-in link noted above in your favorites so that you can access it quickly and easily.
Coming soon, all faculty will be required to log into the MRES with their McGill Username and password. Hospital Coordinators:
Hospital Coordinators are able to retrieve their username and password for one45 at any time via the "forgot password" link on the MRES one45 sign in page.
INSTRUCTIONS: Go to the main MRES log in page: myMRES.mcgill.ca Leave both username and password fields blank and click on “forgot password” – and enter your email address. The email address you enter here MUST MATCH the address which is already in your one45 account. After you enter the address and click on submit, your username AND password will be sent to you by email. Once you log in with the temporary password provided, you will be asked to change your password to something you can easily remember.
Faculty Members:
Please ensure that you have completed the faculty contact information form below and returned it to your Residency Program Teaching Office or directly to the
MRES Administrator -Tamara Lütz.
Hospital Contact Information Form - The information on this form is entered into the MRES (one-45) system, and provides faculty
members with information on how to obtain or verify their McGill email address.
Faculty Accounts on MRES (one45)
Clinical Teaching Staff who do not hold an official McGill faculty appointment should consult with the appropriate Department head in order to have their appointment confirmed.
Upon confirmation, these staff members can be added to the MRES one45 system to conduct evaluations electronically. Please contact Tamara Lütz.
McGill Approved Email use ONLY. Why?
Maintains confidentiality
Policy includes prohibition of replying to confidential McGill email from alternate accounts
Protection in case of a breach of information
* Approved email addresses: any @mcgill.ca extension (i.e. @lab.jgh.mcgill.ca, @muhc.mcgill.ca, etc.) or @ssss.gouv.qc.ca
IMPORTANT: Private email address extensions with use of this system are prohibited.
Forgotten passwords for non-synched accounts are sent to the email addresses listed above only.

Faculty
Q: The login link I was sent by email doesn't work anymore. How do I sign into my account?
A: The link sent by email is a one-time only access link to your account that expires after one use. Faculty should have a username and password set
so they can access their account at anytime without these links for frequent sign in purposes, and because users are logged out if the system is left idle
for any length of time.
Most faculty accounts have been, or will be synched with their McGill Username (email) and Password. If you are unsure what your username and password is,
you can obtain your McGill Username and password via your Minerva account http://www.mcgill.ca/minerva-faculty-staff/ under Personal Menu > then
select Password for McGill Username. You can also obtain this information by contacting McGill ICS Help Desk at 514-398-3398 with your 9 digit McGill Staff ID.
For hospital coordinators, the "Forgot Username and/or Password" link can be used at anytime.
Q: How do I know when I need to complete an evaluation online?
A: Email notifications are sent by the system which are triggered by the resident's home Program Administrator send outs. You will receive an email at the approved
email address you have indicated on your faculty coordinates sheet. If you wish to change this email address to one from the approved email list above, send an email
with subject title: "Change of email address" to the MRES Administrator at mresone45.med@mcgill.ca.
