Medicine, Medical Oncology, Microbiology and
Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Respirology and Rheumatology. Please

Process for
applicants who are considered as part of the exchange agreement with
McGill University:
Application deadline is September 01, 2012
Trainees who
are currently training in General Internal Medicine in another Canadian or
American accredited program: Your file must be submitted to us directly
by your sponsor. Your sponsor must
ensure that we receive an official copy of all in-training
evaluations obtained during your Internal Medicine residency in Canada or
the USA. If your school is unable to provide us with your in-training
evaluations, we will require an attestation of residency training,
describing the rotations you have completed and your overall
performance in the program by the end of your R-2 year, including
mention of any leaves.

offer training in the following specialties and subspecialties of
Pediatrics: 2 year programs: Allergy/Immunology, Critical Care, Endocrinology
and Metabolism, Gastroenterology, Neonatology, Emergency Medicine, Nephrology,
Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics , Adolescent Medicine; Respirology, Rheumatology
&
Pediatric Infectious Diseases;
3 year programs: Cardiology, Hematology-Oncology, Microbiology and
Infectious Diseases. Please

Canadian Family Medicine - Emergency Medicine (CFPC)
Match
Admission is via CaRMS:
www.carms.ca.
McGill University participates in the
pan-Canadian Family Medicine - Emergency Medicine (CFPC) Match each
Fall. Please consult the appropriate section under Programs for
information on the
McGill Family Medicine - Emergency Medicine (CFPC)
Fellowship. In order to apply to the College’s CFPC-EM examination
and be eligible for the third year residency positions, prospective candidates must:
- Be currently enrolled in an accredited
family medicine residency program in Canada, or,
- Have completed a CFPC accredited
family medicine residency program, or,
- Have successfully challenged the CFPC
Family Medicine Certification Exam via the practice eligibility route.
All programs start on July 1each year.
We are unable to consider applicants who are out of phase (i.e. who are
unable to start on July 1).
