Installing our Bayesian Software on Windows Vista platforms
For (most of) our Bayesian Software to install properly, Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 must first be installed on your system. This program is present on most versions of Windows, but not Windows Vista. Therefore, if you are using Vista, please install Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 before installing our software. Note that you can safely have multiple versions of .NET Framework installed on the same computer.

To check which version(s) of .NET Framework is (are) installed on your computer, follow these steps:
  1. From Start menu on your Menu bar, select the item Control Panel (in the Settings section);
  2. double-click the Add or Remove Programs icon;
  3. scroll down the list to the Microsoft .Net Framework items list.

If Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1 is not in the list, our software will not install:  download and install Microsoft .NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package.

Once this is done, reboot your system (Shutdown... Restart).
At this point, running (double-clicking) either of the .exe or .msi file obtained from any of our package .zip-file should work correctly (that is, the package should install correctly). Do not hesitate to contact us if you experience any problems or have questions about our software.
